We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer having the following qualifications to be assigned in our company for our Mercedes Project in Jawor, Poland. If you think you meet the expectations and this role is a precious opportunity for your career path, do not hesitate to contact us!

As for the skills and experience we are looking for:

Educational Background:

A Master's degree in Electrical Engineering is essential. The curriculum should have covered relevant design principles, electrical systems theory, and applicable regulations.

Professional Experience:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in electrical design, preferably within construction or industrial settings. This experience should demonstrate a progressive involvement in design tasks and increasing responsibility.
  • Experience in the design of HV, LV, ELV, and Fire Detection Systems is highly desirable and often a requirement for obtaining "uprawnienia budowlane do projektowania" in the electrical specialty.
  • While site engineering experience is valuable, the focus here shifts towards design experience.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in electrical design software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit MEP, electrical calculation software like Dialux, Relux, or specialized industrial software).
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant Polish and European electrical standards and regulations, with a strong emphasis on design codes (e.g., SEP, PN-EN standards).
  • Strong theoretical understanding of electrical systems, including calculations for load analysis, short-circuit analysis, earthing systems, and protection schemes.
  • Knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) methodologies and their application in electrical design would be a significant advantage.

Language Skills:

  • Proficiency in Polish is essential, both written and spoken, for understanding Polish regulations, creating design documentation in Polish, and communicating with local authorities and contractors.
  • Strong English language skills are also crucial, particularly in an international project environment like the Mercedes plant, for communication with international teams and understanding project specifications. German language skills would be a strong advantage.

"Signing Rights" (Uprawnienia budowlane do projektowania):

  • This is the most critical requirement. The candidate must possess valid "uprawnienia budowlane do projektowania" (design license) in the electrical specialty in Poland. This license grants the legal right to independently design electrical installations and systems.
  • The process of obtaining these rights involves meeting specific educational requirements, completing a required period of design practice under the supervision of a licensed engineer, and passing a state examination focused on design principles and regulations.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly explain design concepts and solutions to various stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary design team.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills specifically applied to design challenges.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple design tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in design documentation.

Specific Considerations for the Mercedes Plant Project (Design Focus):

  • Automotive Industry Design Experience: Experience in the design of electrical systems for automotive plants or large-scale industrial facilities is highly advantageous, understanding the specific power requirements, automation interfaces, and safety standards.
  • Mercedes-Benz Standards (Design): Familiarity with Mercedes-Benz design guidelines, technical specifications, and approval processes would be highly beneficial.
  • Synergy Construction Requirements (Design): As per the information found, Synergy construction likely seeks candidates with strong proficiency in both English and Polish for design communication and a deep understanding of how design choices impact construction procedures and material selection.

Job Description:

  • Designing electrical systems in compliance with regional codes and standards
  • Participating in design reviews, verifications, and validations
  • Coordinating and overseeing electrical engineering activities
  • Preparing design documentation and guidelines

We are offering:

  • Competitive salary
  • Daily hot meals on-site at the canteen
  • Company phone and laptop
  • LinkedIn Learning access
  • A collaborative work culture that values your input
  • A key role in innovative construction projects
