We are looking for at least a B-class Health, Safety, and Environment Manager having the following qualifications to be assigned in our company in EVE Battery Project in Hungary. If you think you meet the expectations and this role is a precious opportunity for your career path, do not hesitate to contact us!  

As for the skills and experience we are looking for:


  • University degree in Engineering or equivalent with additional professional qualifications in HSE Management, 
  • B-Class Occupational Health and Safety certificate, Master’s Degree in similar field preferred or with Nebosh certificate,
  • Minimum of 10+ years experience in EHS,
  • Strong, experience with equipment hazard assessments, work at height procedures, lockout/tagout procedures, electrical safety, and chemical management safety,
  • Experience managing large-scale projects and projects with a technical and/or engineering scope,
  • Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety management systems such as ISO 45001 and ISO 14001,
  • Experience with Environmental, Health and Safety regulations and guidelines (OSHA, NFPA, ANSI, ISO, and EPA),
  • Experience conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, root cause analyses and corrective action management,
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in an extremely fast-paced and changing environment. Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills,
  • Ability to give formal presentations to small groups and communicate successfully with all levels of employees and management,
  • Skills in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook),
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English,
  • Hungarian or Romanian an advantage,
  • Ability to work abroad and with a global team


Job Description:

  • Serve as a technical consultant/subject-matter expert to the management team for guidance on EHS programs and policies and best practices.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and procedures that ensure compliance with applicable local regulations and conformance with the company’s integrated management system.
  • Monitoring and reviewing performance and communicating the results.
  • Establish and monitor HSE business KPIs (e.g. zero reportable accidents) and make recommendations to improve on the achievement of KPIs.
  • Lead/support equipment risk assessments, hazard analyses, and change management processes. Evaluate equipment design and suggest modifications and safety improvements.
  • Conduct and manage industrial hygiene surveys and environmental monitoring to identify and control physical, chemical, and biological hazards, e.t.c in the workplace.
  • Support or lead incident analyses to determine root cause(s), prevention, and corrective measures.
  • Ability to lead complex projects across teams.
