We are looking for a Site Chief for Steel structure and Cladding works having the following qualifications to be assigned in our company for BMW-Debrecen project in Hungary. As for the skills and experience we are looking for:

• University degree (BS/MS) in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years experience on international industrial/construction projects.
• Excellent organization and teamwork skills. Proven success in contributing to a team oriented environment. 
• Self oriented, disciplined, and well organized.
• Fluent in Turkish and English (both written and spoken). Hungarian knowledge is a plus.
• Good communication skills and well-motivated.
• No obstacle to relocate to Hungary
• AutoCAD and MS office computer skills

Job Description:

• Oversight and observation of the construction teams including all subcontractors.
• Regularly report on construction activity and schedule progress.
• Provide technical input during the project meetings.
• Coordinate the activities of all teams including subcontractors to comply with Schedule requirements.
• Plan and review with each team, their programs of construction including procedures, equipment, and manpower requirements.
• Assist the technical office to prepare Method Statements.
• Review and comment on Method Statements received from subcontractors.
• Assist the HSE Manager in implementing the Project Safety Plan.
• Ensure as-built compliance with project documents.
• Advise the Project/Construction Manager of any problem or potential delays and advise the corrective actions to be taken.
• Resolve field conflicts and problems.
• Assist the Technical Office as required in technical analysis of construction contract claims.
• Oversee total construction effort to ensure the project is constructed in accordance with design, budget, schedule, quality, and safety.
