Job Description:

• Takes responsibility for comprehensive accounting processes of the company
• Ensures the integrity of accounting information by setting up structures and controlling the workflow
• Manages the day-to-day accounting full scope : A/R, A/P, General ledger, Fixed assets entries
• Masters the month-end closing process
• Summarizes financial status by collecting information; preparing periodically balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements
• Manages the annual closing statutory obligations
• Manages the relations with local statutory auditors and tax authorities
• Takes care of compliance with legal requirements
• Participates proactively in process- and ERP improvement projects
• Leads the accounting team
• Meets data delivery duties toward authorities (e.g. MNB, KSH)
• Handles company relationships via ‘Company Gate’
• Secures financial information by completing database backups
• Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential
• Collaborates with group companies’ accountant and finance team

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economy or relevant departments,
• At least 6-8 years of relevant experience as a managerial role,
• Strong understanding of and experience in ERP systems (SAP knowledge is an advantage),
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills including expertise in MS Excel,
• Ability to meet the required deadlines,
• Team player with excellent problem solving skills
• Language proficiency native in Hungarian and advanced in English
• Solid command of Hungarian Tax legislation and accounting standards
• Excellent organization, administrative (accuracy) and follow-up skills
• Registration as chartered accountant is a must
• International accountancy qualification and knowledge is an advantage
