We are looking for a full-time QA/QC Manager, for our construction project in Zaragoza with the following qualifications to join our dynamic team.

As for the skills and experience we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experienced in construction projects for at least 8 years.
  • Experience with quality management systems (QMS) and methodologies (e.g., ISO 9001).
  • In-depth understanding of QA/QC principles and practices.
  • Proficient in quality inspection techniques and tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to provide inter-departmental coordination and healthy information flow,
  • Fluency in English and Spanish.
  • Located in Zaragoza or open for relocation.

Job Description:

  • Ensure that construction works comply with the contract, technical specifications, drawings, and applicable standards.
  • Implement and monitor the Project Quality Plan and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
  • Prepare, manage, and update quality documentation, including procedures, material approvals, test plans, and quality records.
  • Control site inspections and tests, including coordination with laboratories and third-party inspectors.
  • Manage incoming materials, ensuring correct approval, storage, and use according to specifications.
  • Carry out internal quality audits for the project and subcontractors.
  • Monitor construction activities to ensure quality requirements are met at all stages of the work.
  • Identify, register, and manage non-conformities, ensuring corrective and preventive actions are implemented and closed.
  • Monitor and report quality performance and inspection results to project management.
  • Ensure proper control and calibration of measuring and testing equipment.
