We are looking for a proactive Solar System Proposal Manager to lead the tender and proposal process for solar PV projects, while providing technical support during project execution. for our headquarter in Hungary. Job Description;

• Lead analysis of client RFQs, RFPs, and technical specifications for solar PV projects (rooftop, ground-mounted, and utility-scale)
• Develop technically sound and commercially viable solar system solutions
• Perform preliminary system sizing, layout design, and energy yield calculations
• Prepare technical and commercial proposal packages
• Coordinate with internal teams: sales, engineering, procurement, and project management
• Participation in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) processes for projects under leadership.
• Liaise with suppliers and EPC partners for quotations, technical clarifications, and vendor evaluation
• Participate in client meetings, technical presentations, and proposal reviews
• Support contract negotiations from a technical perspective
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams once proposals are awarded
• Assist with commissioning, site inspections, and troubleshooting as needed
• Ensure compliance with grid codes, safety regulations, and client requirements
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting throughout the proposal and project phases

As for the skills and experience we are looking for;

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Energy Systems Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in solar PV system engineering, renewable energy, or energy storage projects.
• Flexible to travel frequently if required
• Strong understanding of; Solar PV system design and operation, Inverters, transformers, and grid connection requirements and Energy yield estimation and performance modelling.
• Proven experience in technical proposal, tender, or RFP preparation
• Ability to read and interpret single-line diagrams, electrical schematics, and layouts
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and cross-functional coordination
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to support project execution
• Utility-scale solar PV or hybrid solar + storage project experience
• Familiarity with design and simulation tools (PVSyst, Helioscope, Homer, AutoCAD)
• Knowledge of grid codes, local regulations, and international standards (IEC, IEEE, UL, NEC)
• Experience with cost estimation, BOQ preparation, and supplier evaluation
• Hands-on project execution or commissioning experience
• PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus
