We are looking for a Design Manager with the following qualifications to be assigned to our Mercedes project in Poland. If you think you meet the expectations and this role is a precious opportunity for your career path, do not hesitate to contact us!

 

As for the skills and experience we are looking for:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in design, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Preferably, experience in the design and construction of industrial projects.
  • Proficiency in relevant design software, in line with construction industry standards (such as Revit, Allplan, Archicad, Tekla).
  • Fluency in both Polish and English (written and spoken).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for presenting ideas, negotiating with stakeholders, and coordinating across multiple teams.
  • Ability to quickly identify design challenges and develop creative, practical solutions, ensuring projects stay on track.
  • Strong focus on accuracy and quality, ensuring all designs are meticulously reviewed before submission.
  • Able to work efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, adapting to shifting priorities and changing project requirements.

 

Job Description:


  • Lead and coordinate the execution and workshop design process for the Project to ensure the Project is delivered on time, within budget.
  • Ensure quality, consistency, accuracy, and cohesion in all design work produced.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for designers (geotechnical, structural, architectural, mechanical, and electrical) and consultants. Communicate with the Client to facilitate design approvals and updates, ensuring all expectations are met.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for value engineering, presenting time and cost-effective alternatives and innovations.
  • Conduct detailed analysis and presentations to gain client approval for optimized design solutions.
