As Data Analyst at Synergy, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing data across the energy, real estate, and construction sectors. You will be responsible for providing insights that will influence strategic decisions and improve operational efficiencies. Your analytical skills will help us optimize resources, forecast market trends, and drive business growth.


Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement data analyses, data collection systems, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.

Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems.

Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.

Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems.

Work with management to prioritize business an information needs.

Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.

Prepare reports for executive leadership that effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data content and business requirements.


Key Requirements:

A minimum of 5 years of demonstrable expertise in data analysis.

Proficiency in Excel, encompassing advanced functions and adept data manipulation skills.

A meticulous approach to scrutinizing and interpreting datasets with precision.

A proven ability to distil complex information into actionable insights.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential for effective collaboration with diverse teams.


Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or a related field.

Experience in data models and reporting packages.

Ability to analyze large datasets.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

Knowledge of statistics and experience usinG statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SAP, etc.)
