We are looking for a Risk Manager having the following qualifications to be assigned in our company at headoffice in Budapest and open to travel often in Hungary. If you think you meet the expectations and this role is a precious opportunity for your career path, do not hesitate to contact us!  


As for the skills and experience we are looking for:

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering, construction management. Certified as Risk Manager is an advantage.
  • 5+ years of experience of risk assessment and abatement experience in the technical field. Project management and supervisory experience is required. Experience in construction market is required.
  • Good command of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint), Google Drive (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms), Email (mail merge, filters, folders, rules), Presentations/Slideshows (Powerpoint, Google Slides), Database Management (Oracle)
  • Management and leadership skills - good management and leadership skills in order to manage risk in all departments, help the process owners accept changes, as well as great leadership to make it all happen.
  • Analytical risk assessment skills - to be able to collect and analyse data and to be able to use that data to make strategic or tough decisions. Taking the data and seeing any potential gaps in order to conduct further research.
  • Problem-solving mantra - to look at the business issue and get to the crucial solutions and to be able to push for the real answers and look strategically for solutions.
  • Strategic thinking - to see the big picture, but then break it down and find solutions and opportunities.
  • Technical knowledge and skills - to identify and measure the risks, as well as implement strategies to mitigate those risks.
  • Regulation rigour - to invest the time to stay up to date, and understand all regulation changes and updates.
  • To have the ability to produce risk reports, attend meetings and present proposals to senior members of the management team or the board.
  • Ability to bring processes teams along - everyone to see how important it is that the changes that need to be implemented in the business or learnings for the whole processes are worth listening too!
  • Diplomacy and tact is required.

Job Description:


  • Establishing the context of the risk management process
  • Building a culture of risk management within the organization, including appropriate training
  • Design and review of risk management processes
  • Coordinating the implementation of risk management process
  • Proposing to General Manager the composition of Risk Assessment Teams
  • Establishing and updating the Risk Assessment Chart at the organizational level by centralizing the Risk Assessment Charts at processes and projects level
  • Informing the process managers about the treatment actions approved by the General Manager;
  • Informing the Risk Assessment Teams (RAT) about new identified risk or about changes in the internal or external context of the organization, when they occur;
  • Informing the top management about the results of the risk assessment / treatment at organizational level;
  • Collaborating with the Risk Assessment Team in all stages of risk assessment process;
  • Reviewing the implementation of risk treatment actions (responsibilities and deadlines)
  • Monitoring and reviewing risk management process
  • Reporting to top management regarding the results of the risk management process
