Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in an Engineering discipline
  • Minimum 10 years of related experience
  • Advanced level of English
  • Experience in different contract types (i.e. lump sum, unit price, cost plus fee etc.)
  • Experience in an EPC Contractor, Client, PM Consultant or General Contractor organization
  • Experience in the review, evaluation, drafting, negotiation and management of contracts and subcontracts
  • Exceptional negotiation and persuasion skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Polish
  • In-depth knowledge of the policies, procedures and objectives in the construction field


Job Description

  • To liaise with the project teams and provision of commercial advice with regard to prime and subcontract issues and reporting during Contract execution
  • To support project teams in the negotiation with clients, contractors and subcontractors to achieve project objectives
  • Preparing and accomplishing negotiations concerning contract variations and deviations with the clients and/or subcontractors
  • Reviewing and drafting of contractual notices and communications
  • Management of contractual claims from initial stage to settlement
  • Management and administration of all contractual forms including bonds, guarantees, warranties, etc.
  • Provision of commercial support to other ad hoc project requirements as necessary
  • Preparation of subcontracts and negotiation with companies
